Week 39....SO CLOSE!!!

Week 39

Well, I can't believe we are approaching the end....AND I can't believe Miss Brooklyn has done a 180 in my tummy....that is right....she is no longer breached.  SO, our planned c-section is off for the time being. Now, it is just a waiting game.

I am feeling great...nothing major to complain about.  My feet, ankles, and hands are swollen (especially at night after work).  And my face feels very chubby!!!  I am really feeling the weight now, moving slower, can't bend down to pick things up, etc.  BUT over all, still going strong!

Total Dr. office weight gain = 31 lbs

Week 36

Moving right along....only 4 more weeks!!!

Total Dr. Office Weight Gain = 28 lbs

We had an ultra sound today at the doctors office.  Look at sweet Brooklyn's profile  =)

Everything went well - they said she was a bit over 6 lbs....so we have a healthy little girl on her way!  The only 'problem' is she is breeched.  This means there is a high possibility I will be having a c-section.  BUT, if this is the only issue, no worries at all.  We will just be overjoyed to hold her in our arms.  We now go to the doctor each week and her positioning along with everything else will be evaluated.

My feet are starting to swell (especially by the end of the day) and Little Burger is moving moving moving!  Weight is packing on .... literally overnight .... really ready for good morning jogs again!  All in all though, nothing major to complain about.

We are continuing to work on the nursery!  Curtains are taking longer than expected but look AMAZING!!!  The closet now has clothes hanging.  Austin has put together a stroller, pack-n-play, car seat, swing, bouncer, etc....so many fun new things for Miss Brooklyn!

Rose, Susan, Leigh, and Laura were too kind to host a wonderful shower for us.  My co-workers were amazingly generous...I can't thank everyone enough for the daily support!

These ladies are so wonderful to me!

All of the tutu details were perfect....and the bow/headband making station was beyond creative!  Brooklyn can't wait to wear her own tutu and special head gear!!!

It was a great morning filled with lots of love, laughs, and ladies!

Week 33!!!

33 weeks ... CRAZY!!!

Good doctor appointment today  =)

Total Dr. Office Weight Gain = 23 lbs

Still feeling great!  I am starting to feel the weight of my stomach - I can not bend over and move as quickly.  Lots of ice cream eating these days as well.....I mean, why not!

Beginning to get a bit stressed about the nursery....but it is coming together nicely....just slowly!  I am currently making the bed skirt and curtains.  Austin is working hard placing furniture in just the right place, curtain rods up, putting together the book shelf, etc.

We also started lamaze classes at the hospital.  We have watched videos of natural births (no medication).... can I just say 'meds please!'

Just can't wait to meet our little burger!!!  She is such a blessing already.

I have a lot more posts coming....just need to find the time!

Easter Baskets from Korshak

Each department at work put together an Easter basket for a little girl and a little boy. 

It was so much fun (and made me that much more excited for next Easter with my little miss Brooklyn)!

Victoria Ladies Nesting Shower

WOW! 

What an amazing shower my girlfriends put together for Miss Brooklyn!

They went with a 'NESTING' theme and really just out did themselves.  From the decorations to the food...all the details were covered. 

                

And what an amazing turn out by my wonderful family and friends. 

 

Again, Austin and I are so blessed to have so much love and support as we embark on this new and exciting stage in our lives.  I can not say THANK YOU enough!
